LR-44 Camera and Calculator Alkaline Battery (1.5 volt)
The LR-44 is the alkaline version of the silver-oxide G-13 battery. This was probably the most commonly used battery in SLR camera design before the advent of auto-focus cameras and it is also used in many electronic devices such as calculators. One of a series of batteries commonly referred to as 'button' cells, some cameras used one, while others used two, stacked 'in-series.' The alkaline version is less expensive but will not last as long as the silver-oxide version.
